"Fall"ing for Garrett

We wanted to share Garrett's six month pictures with you! My friend Amanda from work took these pictures(she also took his 3 month pics) I have been dreaming about pictures of Garrett in the leaves since he was still in my belly. This is my favorite time of year as you may guessed by now. Since I have the opportunity I will fill you in on some changes in the Kline household. I am told Garrett will soon be mobile. He is currently on all fours rocking back and forth, very eager to get going! He is more verbal and all smiles than ever. Brandon and I both agreee this is a great age. He also loves walking (with our support of course), if he had his way we would be doing this all day long. In more news, as of December I will be taking a new job. I have wanted to make this change since my pregnancy and God has now answered that prayer. I will be working Internal Medicine for a great man, Dr James Pike. I will be working four days a week(yeah Mondays will be Mommy and Garrett Day!) with hopes of maybe moving to three days a week in the future. Wish me luck! We are also blessed to find out that Garrett will be having a new "boy" cousin in Feburary and a new "boy" friend with the Sablehaus'. Yeah for boys! I think this means we will be very busy, boys are busy! Cannot wait to post Halloween!

Today we went to Stoneycreek Farms in Noblesville to pick our family pumpkin. We took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Daddy helped Garrett pick the perfect first pumpkin. We also enjoyed walking around the farm which had ponies, a petting zoo, mums, and gords. We enjoyed homemade strawberry shortcake and bought some fresh pumpkin butter. We had so much fun together. This is sure to be a family tradition!

We have been looking foward to showing you pictures of Garrett's first trip to the Children's Museum. Our camera was not cooperating so we had to get some pics from family. Brandon's sisters and mom along with Patrick came to visit in late September. We are so appreciative of their ability to come visit us and we enjoy getting to share highlights of our great city!

Fall is here!

Garrett is now six months old! He went to Dr Kristen on Friday and weighs 17lbs 14oz and is 27 1/4 inches. After a sick beginning to daycare in August, he went the whole month of September healthy! Garrett is really moving or should I say rolling and scooting to get whevever he wants to go! He is very verbal now saying things such as "bababa". We have been spending a lot of time outdoors because this is my favorite time of year. I cannot take enough walks. Garrett really enjoys sitting in his stroller pretending he is driving and loves to look at all the kids playing and the silly Halloween decor. This weekend we were able to enjoy some time with family. Below are some pictures taken of my family in the park. The proceeds went to the photographer and his wife who just adopted two children in Haiti. It was nice to see my sister who is 5 months pregnant with baby number four, she looks great. We find out the sex in one week, yeah! We were also able to enjoy a homemade german diner with Grandma Kline. Enjoy the season, I know we are!

Got Milk?

Brooke was having a bowl full of ice cream, and it did not take long for bubba to notice the bowl. Can I have some or "eh" in Garrett's language. All it took was one bite and he was hooked. Eh...Eh...Eh He was like a little bird. By the end of it, he had a wonderful milk mustache and we had to capture it.

Give me a five!

Garrett is now five months old. Our new milestones are sitting up on our own, which makes it fun to play with toys. Also as of yesterday we have our first tooth!! This tooth and the other one that is soon to arrive has come with a lot of slobber, fussiness and chewing on everything. He still goes to Miss Jaime's everyday and loves it! His favorite activity there is the music teacher that comes to play every Thursday. We are enjoying walks more now that we can sit up like a big boy in our stroller. Brandon and I have enjoyed taking him to the Fishers Farmers Market on saturday mornings. Otherwise lately we have really enjoyed a few weekends at home and a little TLC!

I wanted to share some pictures my neighbor Todd captured of Garrett in the baby pool with his girls Valerie and Samantha. He loved splashing around with the girls and playing with boats. I think I have a little fish on my hands!

Last weekend we had beautiful weather that we needed to take advantage of, plus I think our family needed a little fresh air! So we took our first Kline family trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. Obviously Garrett is a little young, so this trip was primarily for mom and dad. Garrett did enjoy the Oceans exhibit and the seal/sea lions because it was up close and hands-on. There was something about letting my 5 month old put his hand in shark infested waters so I left the "pet the sharks" exhibit to daddy. We are definitely looking foward to another trip next spring when he is older.
